The defending champions have seen plenty of fantastic performances from their talented roster throughout the opening months of the season. The goals keep coming from Lewandowski and he has shown no signs of slowing down in the 2021/22 season. With 19 goals registered thus far, Robert Lewandowski leads the league in goal scoring and currently tops the European Golden Boot standings as well. His consistency has been incredible as usual as he has scored 34% of Bayern’s goals in the German top-flight. He leads the league in a number of categories including the number of players dribbled past, progressive carrying distance, progressive carries, carries into the final third, and carries into the penalty area.

He ranks fifth on the team in average key passes per match and sixth on the team in total shot-creating actions. Additionally, he is tied for the fifth-most assists on the team in the Bundesliga. Defensively, Davies ranks third on the team in tackles and fourth in interceptions made. Needless to say, he’s been getting the job done everywhere on the pitch.

In addition to his impressive goal-scoring numbers, Sane has contributed five assists in the league and four assists in the UEFA Champions League. His offensive impact has been certainly felt so far this season and he was one of Die Roten’s best players in the Hinrunde.
