It has been a difficult year across the globe due to the continuation of the pandemic. Bayern Munich has managed to bring happiness to the Bavarian faithful during this difficult time by delivering success and giving many memorable moments throughout the year.

Die Roten ended the year strongly by winning four league games in a row and ending Hinrunde at the top of the Bundesliga. The defending Bundesliga champions are well placed to retain the trophy as they have managed a lead of nine points over the second-placed Borussia Dortmund.

In the Champions League, Rekordmeister enjoyed a 100 percent record in the group stage. The manner of victories during all six games further strengthened the case for people backing them to go all the way in the competition. The 2019/20 European Champions will face Red Bull Salzburg in the round of 16.

While there was a lot of joy for Die Roten in the Champions League, they did endure disappointment in DFB Pokal. Julian Nagelsmann’s men were eliminated from the German cup competition after suffering a humiliating 5-0 defeat against Borussia Monchengladbach in the second round. Ahead of the all-important second half of the season, here are three wishes which Bayern fans would like Santa to fulfill this Christmas.
